100% Chardonnay grapes, soil type: limestone, chalk rich in belemnites fossils (secondary era mollusc) Environmentally friendly viticulture, followed by ‘RĂ©seau Magister’ since 1991. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. Champagne from the 2013 vintage. Bottled in April 2014. Maturation on yeasts during 4 years in the cellars. The rĂ©muage is done manually every day over a period of 20 days. Dosage 8 g/l. The nose is floral and fruity. Broad, it impresses with its delicacy. The palate is long and balanced, this Millesimato offers everything you would expect from a blanc de blancs.
The winery was created in 1927 by Maurice Doyard, who co-founded the CIVC in 1941. It is located in the heart of the CĂ´te des Blancs in Vertus.
