Vega Sicilia Unico is Vega Sicilia’s flagship product, a wine that comes from the oldest vineyards on the estate and is one of those ‘legendary’ wines that every wine lover should try at least once in his or her life. Moreover, it is one of the wines with the highest ageing potential in the world. If kept in optimal conditions, Vega Sicilia Unico can rest in the cellar for up to 60 years.
The 2009 vintage began with a particularly cold winter, characterised by numerous frosts and temperatures many degrees below 0. The vines, therefore, did not bud until the last week of April, until spring brought with it temperatures close to 20ºC. The risk of fungus, however, was averted by the lack of abundant rainfall. In summer, during the ripening of the fruit, there were sharp temperature fluctuations between day and night, which allowed the fruit to accumulate aromas and colour. Finally, the harvest began on 23 September and ended on 3 October.
With every sip, the Vega Sicilia Unico 2009 shows ‘infinite complexity’. It is a broad and deep wine, characterised by elegance, firmness and a well-defined style. Truly a wine… unique!

Rates: packing and shipping
The packaging cost applied to each order regardless of the number of bottles, weight and destination is €3.00 (VAT included).
The shipping cost is calculated by the system according to the destination of the goods and the number of bottles shipped.
For deliveries outside the EU. Any customs duties are charged to the recipient and are calculated and paid to the courier upon delivery. EX. For UK destinations around £2 per bottle.

Free home delivery is provided for the areas surrounding Senigallia where the zip code is 60019 and if the order value is at least €100. In this case, when calculating the delivery costs, just indicate your domicile and postal code and the system will apply zero costs. Once the order has been received, we will arrange the delivery. In the case of orders with a value of less than €100, the customer can still place the order, but can collect the products at our store in Via Via Pisacane, 66 - 60019 Senigallia (AN).
