Claude Cazals
Three generations have succeeded one another at the helm of the estate, and today DelpHine Cazals manages the winery with just as much passion and enthusiasm to further enhance this great Côte des blancs terroir.
La Maison Claude Cazals: an exceptional terroir
DelpHine Cazals has been running the house since the death of his father in 1996. The entire Cazals vineyard consists of 9 hectares of vines spread over 4 communes: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus and Villeneuve. One part is therefore classified as Grand Cru and the other as Premier Cru. All the vineyards are planted with Chardonnay to create cuvées with their own identity, rich in finesse and powerful aromas. The oceanic climate with a continental influence favours its good development.
One of the strengths of the Maison Cazals is that it possesses an exceptional parcel classified as a Grand Cru in a delimited area: Le Clos Cazals, which covers 3.70 hectares of old vines in the village of Oger.
