Clos Cantenac
Clos Cantenac is a small but seductive 6-hectare property comprising four main parcels of carefully planted vines on an exceptional “terroir” of deep gravel, sand and clay on broken limestone located near the prehistoric “Megalith ?de Pierrefitte”.
Having bought this enchanting St Emilion Grand Cru property at the end of 2006, the initial challenge was to take control of the day-to-day management of the vineyards, then to improve the vineyard architecture and finally to renovate the 200-year-old cellar in preparation for the first harvest at the end of September 2007.
In 2017 Charlotte Krajewski joined the team as Technical Director and Chief Oenologist, having spent the previous ten years working abroad in six countries and on four continents.
Charlotte brings with her a lot of knowledge and experience accumulated around the world, but here we continue to work in a very traditional way and proudly respect the history and culture of the region to produce fine wines.
