In the enclave of Damery, not far from Epernay, Benjamin Choppin leads the family Domaine by skilfully applying the concepts of bio-natural viticulture and producing each year a series of cuvées with an authentic and elegant character. Understanding the personality of the individual terroir, observing its interaction with biological and seasonal agents, adapting human intervention to accompany the fruit to its most vivid expression through the implementation of choices in the cellar that are as respectful and natural as possible. These are the concepts Benjamin uses to develop champagnes that best represent the singularity of the vintage and the identity of the terroir. To this end, no artifice is involved, but only natural elements such as wood in the cellar (tonneaux and barrels) and sustainable vineyard management practices (the company is HVE-3 certified). In addition to the ‘classic’ range, Benjamin offers an exceptional range of cuvées parcellaire, both vintage and non-millesimé, also in single-varietal versions. All of this is packaged in a modern and elegant design. All ingredients that fully espouse our vision of Champagne – true, innovative and distinguished by an authentic personality.
