Palacios Remondo

This is a winery that, from Alfaro, in the Mediterranean eastern Rioja, overlooks one of the last foothills of the Sistema Ibérico, the rugged and cool Sierra de Yerga.

La Montesa, a Garnacha vineyard par excellence, spreads out on its slopes, formed by sedimentation colluvium from the peaks. Rooted and traditional viticulture on its clay and calcium carbonate soils, where pebbles of volcanic origin also appear.

Álvaro Palacios works in the family vineyard to offer us wines committed to their origin, today shaped by a renewed passion.
