Veuve Fourny & Fils
Champagne is always rich in emotion and in their family it also evokes passion: the passion of the artisan winegrower who tends a magnificent terroir classified as Vertus Premier Cru. This wealth has been cultivated by their family since 1856. They represent the fifth generation to offer Champagne wines.
From their grandfather Albert, via their son Roger and Madame Veuve Fourny, they have inherited a vast wealth of knowledge and a vineyard of old vines, including the Clos Faubourg de Notre-Dame, a rarity in Champagne. They are proud to produce this wine, a family monopoly since 1930.
Although they are brothers, they are above all accomplices and complementary, so it was only natural for them to take over the family business in 1993. Drawing on their personal experiences and their markedly different characters, they decided together on the style of their cuvées. Their champagne collection exalts the Premier Cru terroir of the Côte des Blancs in a refined style that emphasises elegance and freshness.
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, they strive to extract the purest expression of grape and terroir, offering low-dosage champagnes.
